Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Somnovis (somnovis.com) is operated by FOP Artem Maliuha, a private sole proprietor registered in Ukraine ("Somnovis", "we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact support@somnovis.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data Somnovis collects when you browse the site or purchase a personal dream reading, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
3. Data collected while browsing
We do not require an account to read articles on Somnovis.
Google Analytics (GA4) records anonymized usage statistics (pages viewed, general location, device type) to help us understand which content is useful. Google AdSense may show advertising and use cookies/identifiers for ad delivery and, where permitted, personalization.
For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, both of the above only run after you have given consent through the cookie banner (Google's consent management platform). You can withdraw consent at any time by reopening that banner or clearing your cookies.
4. Data collected for the personal dream reading feature
When you purchase a personal AI dream reading, we collect:
The dream description you type in; which options you purchased (general reading / detailed reading / illustration); your email address, obtained from Paddle (our payment processor) after a successful purchase, used only to send you the finished reading; and the AI-generated text and/or image produced for you.
5. Who we share it with
Paddle.com Market Limitedacts as the Merchant of Record for all payments — they process your payment, handle VAT/sales tax, and are the seller in the purchase contract with you. See Paddle's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
DeepSeek (Hangzhou DeepSeek AI, China) receives your dream description to generate the text readings. This involves an international transfer of your dream description outside the EEA/UK.
fal.ai receives a short, AI-derived visual description (not your original text verbatim) to generate your personal illustration, if purchased.
Resend is used to email you the finished reading. We never sell your data to anyone.
6. How long we keep it
Your dream description, the generated reading(s)/image, and your email address are kept for 90 days after purchase, then permanently deleted from our systems (the image file is deleted too). Records of the transaction itself (order id, amount, date, currency) may be kept longer for accounting purposes, without any of the personal content above.
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' own default retention settings.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to its processing. Contact support@somnovis.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Somnovis is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
